What Makes Sonrisa Salsa different?
We're a small-batch salsa company born from nearly 30 years of serving our recipes in our family-owned restaurant. Every jar is made with real ingredients, bold flavor, and recipes people have been asking to take home for years.
No shortcuts. No weird stuff. Just salsa that makes everything taste better.
Is this salsa spicy?
Our original salsa lands somewhere in the happy middle. It has enough heat to keep things interesting, but it's made for flavor first—not to set your mouth on fire.
What does it taste like?
Smoky, savory, slightly tangy, and incredibly versatile. You'll notice layers of roasted chipotle peppers, garlic, vinegar, and spices that build flavor without overpowering your food.
Is it only for chips?
Absolutely not.
We call it "The Sauce That Goes on Everything" for a reason!

Proudly made in California using our family recipe!
Ingredients & Nutrition
Naturally vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free with no added preservatives (refrigerate after opening!) so you can feel good about adding flavor!
Why does every batch taste a little different?
Because real chipotle peppers onions, and garlic aren't robots.
Nature gives us slight variations, and we're perfectly okay with that. Every batch is held to our quality standards while keeping the character of handmade food.
Are there allergens?
Our salsa is made without the most common allergens, but it's produced in facilities that may also handle other ingredients.

Storage
Does it need to be refrigerated?
Before opening:
Nope! It's shelf stable.
After opening:
We recommend it!
Treat it like your favorite leftovers.
How long does it last?
Unopened:
Check the Best By date on the lid.
Opened:
For the best flavor, enjoy within 4-6 weeks and keep it refrigerated.
(Pro tip: It rarely lasts that long.)

How long does shipping take?
Orders usually leave our kitchen within 2–3 business days.
Shipping times vary depending on where you live, but most orders arrive within 3–7 business days.
You'll receive tracking information as soon as your salsa is on the move.
My package arrived damaged. What should I do?
That's not the experience we want.
Send us an email within 48 hours with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the package
- Photos of the damaged jar(s)
We'll make it right.
My jar broke during shipping.
It doesn't happen often, but if it does, reach out with photos and your order number.
We'll take care of you.
Do you accept returns?
Because it's food, we can't accept returns.
If something wasn't right with your order, though, please let us know. We're here to help.
